Seasoned Crockpot Turkey

Cooked Turkey
Ingredients:
Turkey Breast (about 5 lbs)
(A)
salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp minced onions
1 tbsp chilli paste
1 tsp ginger powder
(B)
1 stick melted butter
1 tbsp browning seasoning
Half 'maggi' vegetable cube
Half cup warm water
2 stalks celery cut to crock-pot size
sliced red or green bell pepper
1 sliced shallots
Cooking time: 8 hrs - Low Heat
Utensils: crockpot
Methods:
  1. Thaw the turkey 3 days prior to using. Then cut the turkey into half to fit into the crock-pot unless you have large crockpot. Then put the cut turkey into a large clean basin or bowl.
  2. Seasoned the turkey with ingredient (A). Put aside.
  3. Melted the butter and add the browning seasoning. Mix it gently. Then lather the turkey breast with the butter mixture.

  4. Marinated turkey

  1. Lay the celery stalk in the crockpot like a bridge. Then put the marinated turkey into the crockpot carefully.
  2. Sprinkle the sliced pepper and onions onto the turkey.
  3. Warm the water together with the 'maggi' cube. Stir the mixture gently until the cube is mixed with the water.
  4. Then pour the 'maggi' cube mixture into the crockpot.
  5. Cover the crockpot and set it in the refrigerator overnight for marination period.
  6. After marinating the turkey, put the ceramic crockpot into it's holder and turn it on Low Heat and cooked it for 8 hours.
  7. Once cooked, broil the turkey for 2 or 3 minutes to get the browning color on the cooked turkey's skin. This is optional.
