Meaty Borek

This is a Turkish delish.. I ate it when I attended the Fair a few months ago. I found the recipe online.. It's delicious.. Here I add feta cheese, and am not a fan of feta cheese, but that's what the recipe calls for... Next time, I would rather not put the feta cheese..

Meaty Borek

Ingredients:

Gound beef
Parsley
Olive oil
2 eggs
Filo Dough

Methods:

1) Oil the pan using the Olive oil.
2) Lay the first layer of the filo dough, and spread the olive oil on it. Then lay the 2nd layer.. Do the same as the first layer. There should be at least 3 layers
3) Cooked the beef with a pinch of salt and pepper
4) Once cooked, put it aside in a medium bowl.
5) Beat the eggs.
6) Cut the parsley and added it into the cool cooked beef.
(Optional: Add the crumbled feta cheese into the beef)
7) Scoop the beef mixture onto the pan with filo dough. Spread it!!
8) Swizzle the beated eggs. Then add the balance of the beated eggs into the beef mixture. Pour all the beef mixture into the pan.
9) Finally, lay the filo dough on top of the mixture. Then spread the oil on it.
10) Do the same with the next layer. At least 4 or 5 layers of filo dough. Spread the oil on the top layer or spread the egg wash.

Baked at 275F for at least 50 minutes or until golden brown.
