Baked Vege Ziti


Ingredients:

3/4 can Vege Spagetti sauce
12 oz uncooked ziti pasta
1 stalk scallion or green onion
2 cup cooked ground beef or chicken
2 cup Mozarella cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 tbsp chilli paste (Turkish Brand preferred)
1/2 can Mexicorn
Salt & White pepper to taste
1 tbsp Olive oil (Middle-Eastern brand preferred)
Vegetable oil for cooking
9 1/2 inch baking dish

Methods:
  1. Heat vegetable oil in an iron skillet or any skillet. Saute and cooked ground beef in the skillet and put aside the cooked ground beef.
  2. Boiled the uncooked ziti pasta for a few minutes according to the pasta's box instruction until al-dente. Then drained 3/4 of the boiled water and pour ice into the pot to stop the pasta from cooking. Let it stand for 5 minutes or until slightly warm.
  3. Drained all the water from the pasta pot. Add salt and pepper to taste, mexicorn, olive oil, chilli paste to taste and cooked beef. Fold gently so that the mixture is fully mixed.
  4. Then add mozarella and cheddar cheeses into the mixture and fold gently until the mixture blended.
  5. Pour the vege spagetti sauce and fold the mixture gently.
  6. Cut the scallions and sprinkle it into the mixture.
  7. Sprayed the casserole dish or baking dish and pour the mixture into the casserole dish.
  8. Heat the oven at 425F before putting the casserole dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and baked it for 20 minutes or until the cheeses melted.
  9. Once baked, let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

my husband will certainly love this sebab tak goreng and loads of vegetables. must try..but what does it got with? garlic bread?

Well.. for this dish, boleh makan gitu jer if you like but my husband make a sandwich out of it.. actually, anything can though.. ;) or you can fried eggs and eat with it.. kalau tak habis you put it in a fridge and eat it the next day.. :)
